Exit Problem

Why is it that when I exit Freelancer, my screen will go hay wire with horizotal lines across my screen? The computer did not hang as I can still see my mouse moving. I am countering this problem at the moment my moving to my Counterstrike icon and running it and exiting it. I am using a MSI GeForce4 MX440 graphics card.

Don't tell me that I'm a dreamer, I'd rather find out on my own...
