last sunday i was trying to play this game on a lan with a couple of my friends, they were able to connect and play just fine while i could not i couldnt even see a a game to try to connect to, its the same with the internet it just says connecting to global server and just stays there. I could go on the internet and access their computers through the network just fine. dont know if thats from the server being down or me having problems or both. I have tryed reinstalling and removing/installing freelancer and ive also tryed reinstalling DX9 from the FL CD and from microsofts website and still no go. We are all on windows XP going through a linksys router. Im on a p4 2.4 3com nic gf 4200 audigy and soyo dragon motherboard p4x400. i have looked at dxdiag and looked at the network tab and saw that freelancer was not listed in the games there. can anyone check to see if they can play on lan and its on there for them?
