HELP ME!!! please

Just got my copy today. *looks at empty wallet*
I got it installed on my computer and it plays fine except for one problem. almost all of the text in game is squashed flat that i can't read any of it. Only a bit of the menu text is readable and all of the text in game is screwed. i tryed changing the resolution in game but thta didn't help.

anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

What kind of video card do you have? Do you have the latest drivers for your hardware?

the video card is some intel card that came with the computer. Its got the newest driver cause i downloaded it after I reformated a month ago. I also have DirectX 9

If your Intel card is one of these then you have a bigger problem cuz FL doesnt support it or has known (and prolly wont be fixed) problems:

Intel 82810-DC100
Intel 810e
Intel 810
Intel 815
Intel i740
Intel 752

mines the 82810E and the one on my moms is the 82815. both have the exact same problem. the text is the only problem I've seen. everything else works fine. games still playable but i just can't read half the stuff :/

i have the same prob, and i can't connect to the global server :S

i have an GF2 mx400, amd 2000 xp+ and the newest direct x

I am also having this problem. Any text that is not in it's own pop up window is very hard to read. Otherwise the graphics are great, so hopefully it is an easy fix.

In win XP i have the same problem with the letters and also a problem that makes my screen flicker in all the menus on me it works fine but i cant connect to a mp game it locks on the connecting to global server screen! THIS THING NEEDS A PATCH!

IF you have one of the Intel graphics chipsets listed in this thread, then its not likely there is a fix since they're not supported or have known issues. IT will be up to Microsoft if/when they will fix it. For graphics problems, review the known issues in the readme file, or on the Microsoft Games support site.

there is no fix to this unless you get a new video card or microsfot makes a patch. I have no problems with the game except for this issue with the text being unreadable. I do hope a patch does get made because it would be nice to know who is who and what is what.
