Saving Character Problem

When i first play multiplayer, i created a new character. When i quit a server and join a new one, my character is gone! Can somebody help me with that problem?

characters are stored on individual servers... you have to create a different character on each server you use... if you are running the server or you know the sysop, it is possible to move your character to a new server.
