Sound Problems

I have read in many other different Forums about the sound problems regarding this game, and the need to remove a certain CODEC in Windows before installing the new fixed one on the Game Disk. "Or whatever it is one the game disk you need to install". Seeing as I have not experianced this problem myself personally running on Windows 2000 Pro here, I have not taken the time to look on the Game Disk itself to see were the Sound File Fix is located.

But why was'nt this problem fixed anyway in the game before they released it. Rather than release a fix on the disk itself that you have to install manually. Or better still seeing as Microsoft were obviously aware of this problem before they released the game. Why have they not posted a Self Installing Patch or something on there website!

Seems a bit lazy to me this of them when you concider how long they have been working on the game production!

It's actually a problem conected to the widely used Nimo Codec pack and actually all you need to do is change one letter in a registry entry to take care of it
