My Game Is Screwed

The sound files on my game are corrupt and untill i get a new copy i need to know what to do, I have just finished escorting the 2 ships to the Willard Research Station, and have been intercepted by the 3 navy ships at California Minor, I cannot hear what they say however so i have no idea what to do, please help im gonna have to wiat 3 weeks 4 another copy of the game and i cant wait that long to play again.

Why would you possibly need a new copy of a game when in fact nothing is wrong with the game itself but with the configuration of your operating system? Anyway, did you have a look at the "Technical Issues" forum on this page? There are several thread dealing with this pretty common sound problem, providing solutions to get the game working properly. Well **** u guys, all u had to do was say it cood be yr PC settings, theres no need to get all sarcastic superior bastard. newsflash, some people are not computer experts dickwipes, and yr sort of people are the reason "newbs" dont like gaming and leave, all I wanted was help, and although i know know what caused the problem, I am offended at the way it was given, did i ask for a condecending prat to answer?
