XML parser Text Errors

OK- now that I spent two hours on the phone with microsoft tech support- I'm no closer to figuring this out- SO- I'm reformatting and starting from scratch! damnit!! there goes 2 hours of playtime.

I've tried install MSXML3.0, 4.0, 4.0sp1, and nothing!

I had the same problem. Took 2 reinstalls to sort out. :\
