No Linux - it's Microsoft - what do you expect?

I tried to get the server running with WINE, the GUI starts up but the server goes to an infinite loop trying to do something and just says "loding...loading...loading" forever. Im not good at WINE debugging so someone with that kind of skills could take a look at it.

They definitely need to code a Linux flavor of the server (that is, as long as it supports 64bit). A Quad-Opteron would be quite useful in this arena, but not totally necessary (as 64bit windows is a ways off).

yea..

but i think wine could be a solution....

wine works on different machines with different results.. a friend sas, his flserver.exe startsup (saw shortly the screen), but it will closed without any message 1 second after the mainwindow appers.

he use the latest wine build.
