installing CnC Generals instead? wtf?

Okay, this is just f'ing weird. When I downloaded an installed the FL demo, it installed into the temp file normally, but then it said I needed a CD key, it loaded the website with my CD key, then it started to install CnC Generals, then I closed the Generals install program, and then I get a msg saying "Are you sure you got your CD key?" and stuff like that, THEN Freelancer starts installing, and when I try to run it I get PAD setup error: cannot open the PAD registry key

GRRRRRRRRRR I just want to kill someone. Help?

yeh i get that problem as well!!!

dammit.

this better not happen with the full game.
