Won''t generate account id

I just installed freelancer on my new vista pc and the single player mode works fine. Unfortunately, Freelancer won't generate a new multi player account id for me, the text box is just blank. I have looked it up through google but couldn't find any answers.

Any ideas?

freelancer and vista really are not compatible with each other. check rhis forum thru and thru there a posts that will help you make freelancer work with vista.

Ya know, After talking a walk through the internet...
I have come to realise MS has sabotaged it in a way
where people are practically forced to buy Vista
so the blasted internet pages will display properly.
