Connecting to Any Servers

I am running two computers through a router with a software firewall.

I have gone over all the FAQ and can not seem to get past the message "connecting to global servers" when running Freelancer. Can anyone shed some light on what is going on??

I have tried direct link to servers options but again get unhung up at "connecting to global servers".

Can anyone shed some light on what is going on??

On your firewall, be sure to allow Freelancer.exe to use ports 2302-2304.

If that doesn't work, shut off your firewall temporarily and try to connect. If it works, then you need to play with your firewall settings. What firewall software are you using?
