I recently played Freelancer with QuickFix installed. The startup movies vanished. This has happened before despite the entries still being in freelancer.ini, at the time I put it down to something else. It also set the resolution at 1048 x 724 and would not let me change it to 800 x 600, which I need to do in order to run Freelancer in order sort of stability. I reinstalled without QuickFix and it works perfectly. Is QuickFix causing problems?

Back up freelancer.ini before you Quickfix and then just copy it back over after Quickfixing and you'll get your old settings back.
