FLMM not working?

FLMM not working?

Well, it seems that FLMM no longer launches. I don't know what happened, but my text problems went away, and now FLMM problems abound . . . I'll try reinstalling FLMM soon but it's too big for this connection.

Anyway, thanks for any help.

Which version are you using?

Also, when uninstalling, go into the C:/Programs/freelancermodmanager and delete the folder too. If there is a problem with it, uninstalling it does not remove that problem.

You have to make sure the mod manager you're trying to use is compatable with the mods that were developed. There are a few versions. The latest version, 1.4 beta 4 will only tend to work with mods that were developed with the SDK 1.5b.

So in a nutshell, if you're experiencing problems due to using the "latest" version of FLMM, try reverting back to the previous version (FLMM 1.3)

Well, it seems that the mods directory was 65.5 GB on a 45 GB partition . . . I ran CHKDSK and it works now.

Maybe 65mb as I have over 200 mods myself and the total is only 1gb of space

It has to do with cross-linking, I had cross-linked a data file from the Freelancer Rebalance Mod, one from Crossfire, Eagle Universe, etc, etc. So I ended up with 526 cross-linked files and 65 GB on a 45GB drive . . .

umm you have too many damn mods. I once had 1 gig of mods in there before and it took around 3-5 minutes to load. So if you had my PC with 65 gigs of mods it would take lets see 4x65 gigs=260 minutes or 4.333 hours. I think thats your problem, your computer will take HOURS to load FLMM.
