Menu text in Vista

Hi,

I'm only new to the game and new to the site, and in need of some help if possible, I have installed on Vista ultimate and the game graphics look great but all text in the menu screens is distorted and flickering making it unable to be read. I have the newest graphics card drivers and all patches I can find, any one had issues with running it on vista?

There are several problems running it on vista. I have Ultimate too and had the same problem. And there are issues playing online too. I gave up and went back to my XP machine.

hey i run windows millennium and i had that happed also
the text was small flickering and unreadable
and i found a link on this site that tells you how to fix it

Thanks, but I've tried that and no good. I think this is just a Vista issue.
looks like I'll have to give up.

It's not just a Vista issue. Is your graphics card an Intel, specifically a 945GM? I am experiencing the same problem.

yeah my card is the same - must be a card specific issue.
