graphics problem, when I fire I cant see the lasers

This is a very odd problem, whe I fire my primary weapon ( The lasers) not the missiles, I see the firt two shots then they disapear, I know they are there because if I tatget a ship or somethig it takes damage but the lasers are missing.
an someone tell me how to fix this Thanks

Have you installed any mods or patches?
Delete all files that could belong to Freelancer and make a fresh reinstall.
Otherwise...

Hi, I have also this problem, I have tried almost anything but without any major success.. I tried reinstallind nvidia drivers, directx, installing quick fix.. When I ran only pure FL without any mods, it worked for some time after reinstalling all stuff (also directx and drivers) and applying quick fix.. But now I installed Crossfire Mod an since it overwrtites some files fixed by quick fix, this "nice" issue is back again.. Yes, maybe I can return to pure FL and have "lasers", but.. I just like Corssfire

.. So if someone has a solution, please, let me know.. Thanks in advance
