Bad Uninstall

I tried to do a complete uninstall then reinstall so I could apply a new mod. I botched the uninstall and now I seemed ot have screwed up the registry and I cant fix it. When I try to install the game it gets to 0% and says there is a problem with rds1enu.msi whatever that is. I googled it and found some suggestions about deleting this files parent folder in the registry. That hasnt solved the problem. Any suggestions much apprecaited. I'm getting Freelancer withdrawel!

If your running XP, just do a system restor to before you did the uninstall.

However, try first deleting the freelancer folder, then to an install. It usually helps.

Have you tried downloading a registery fixing program like regedit or regmechanic (I can't actually remember the real name, so these may not exist ).

Try your uninstall, then windows uninstall if still showing, and then the registry thingy. I'd def delete any folders too...
