Crash at start up

For some reason I can't get Freelancer to start up! I've tried the Demo, and had perfect success, yet the proper game provides no luck! Any solutions to this? My friends haven't had such problems ...

would be helpful if you added more info then "my game doesn't work!!!!!!"
What kinds of computer do you have?
