Do I need to reload?

I think i might have to reload or something. I am on the mission where you have to destroy the experimental ships... mission 10 i believe. Me and the guy i am with make a run for it to jump to another system... i forget the name. He says 'There is the _____ jump hole. You go first'. But i dont see a jump hole. It is simply not there. I am right next tot he waypoint and there is no jump hole. HELP!!!!!!

The Jump Hole is on the opposite site from where you came in. If it is REALLY not here then there is a mistake in your installation.
Before you reinstall try an older savegame to run the mission agani. If this does not help make safecopies of your savegames and reinstall FL.
