Crossfire 1.52 Mod

Hi,
I've taken this out with the Server Op,but am getting nothing in return.Myself and 9 other people who i know have downloaded this mod and am having the same problem.
Everytime we go thru a JumpGate, our Pc's reboot and we end up 150k away from everything,we've told the server mod and we've been told that there's nothing wrong with the mod and that it's us.but can 10 of us (plus more people that i've seen post and by the looks have given up-which i'm very close to doing) all be wrong?
we have followed instructions to the letter and it's still forcing our PC's to reboot.
Our PC's are not the problem as they are all different, even though 1 person on their forums says so-and just after,a person says it's not coz he has a low spec PC (p3 450mhz).
All help/solutions are welcome.
Please note that this topic is not for flaming the server at all,we just really want to play on this server with this mod

Thank you,and goodnight

I am having exactly the same problem as well. I really really really want to play this mod, because it looks fantastic and I am dying to explore the other systems, but when I go through a jump gate, my computer reboots as well.

This is getting very frustrating, not only for me, but for the players who are too shy to post about the problem. And it is a problem.

There server would be full and very difficult to get on if this problem was sorted out. We have a range of different spec computers which can handle the game, but this rebooting business cannot be doing the comps any good.

Out of desperation, I completely wiped my computer of any trace of freelancer, and did a fresh re-install, downloade FLMM, and the Crossfire mod, and it still rebooted my computer.

This mod is causing problems, and the creator of the mod needs to figure out what is going wrong - saying its conflicting with my computer and leaving it at that is not good enough - please sort this problem out, as a lot of us are having the same problem.

Right, I got my problem sorted, all I had to do was go into Option in the game and disable 3D sound.

So simple, but it did my head in for ages trying to sort it out.
