Files required for MODS

Where can I get the file "freelancer.ini" Several of the mod in my FLMM won't activate and the log states that this file doesn't exist. I have the FLSDK and have loaded it.????

Hi,

You can either:

Reinstall FL

or

Download an updated version from Louva at EOA, this version just logs more errors than the original one, but it does the same job for what you need it to do.

freelancer.ini file download

Place the file into the exe folder in freelancer. (Program Files/Microsoft Games/Freelancer/EXE

hope this sorts it out

Thank you for the file. Now on to problem number two.

Situ: New Computer Dell 9100 w/radeon 128M 3d video card. i have loaded the video file from EOA.

Now the mods will start, "new game" they crash after the talk with Juni
"Open SP" - they crash after the menu.

Whatz up??

You know, I think if you are still having problems with this, you should consider a re-install of fl.
I have abad feeling that maybe the freelancer.ini, wasnt the only file missing, so might be good to do a reinstall. Dont worry, as long as you dont click the "delete saved games" box, you will not lose your exisiting files.
It could also be that you need to install the sdk from Louva (its on the same web site), this fixes many initial errors with FL as well.
