Good old Multiplayer(problem)

As usual my computer has done it again,
The problem is that i got a virus on my compter a few months ago so i had to reset the whole thing losing all of its memory. Then a few weeks ago i installed freelancer and it worked fine untill i tried multiplayer. I went on the server list but no servers appear!!! It says i am connected to the global server and that internet games are available but nothing shows up! But before i got this virus freelancer worked well online but now it doesn't! I have tried uninstalling it by the way.

can anyone help?

p.s. Please explain if you know as basic as possible i am hopeless with all these technicle terms.

p.p.s. i am srry about the post i have put in another forum it is just that benjon has my password. I got bored of spamming. (and before you say anything i really promise,hand on heart, that there are two of us)!

That happened to me, first, get rid of ALL firewalls, then MAKE SURE YOU CLICK, yes, than internet. Then the servers SHOULD come up.

(keep ion mind you have to be connected to the internet first)

ahh yes that might work because i never had a firewall before and now i have one it doesnt work so i'll give it a go
