Hi. I have just started playing freelancer recently. I have noticed that when I play multiplayer games the game seems to randomly crash to my desktop and I have to ctrl-alt-del and close it then restart freelancer.What makes this problem worse is the fact that it seems to happen repeatedly in certain areas... eg... One of my charactors is in cambridge, every time I log on as that charactor I instantly get dumped to desktop so I have no access to that charactor. This problem doesn't seem to happen in singleplayer. I dont have any mods running/installed and I have not used mods since i formatted my computer.

Spec:
Soundblaster Live!5.1 (newest drivers + newest driver patch)
Nvidia GeForce 2 Ultra (newest compatable driver)
Windows XP Pro (all service packs and patches)
Direct X 9.0c

Attempted fixes:
Disabled 3D sound
Reinstalled the MP3 codec (as instructed on this site)
Reinstalled freelancer
Formatted computer + complete reinstall
Turned sound hardware acceleration off

I can't think of anything else to do.
