From Trial to Game

I have been playing the trial version, and have ordered the game. Should be here any day now.

Are there any issues I should worry about installing the game after I have installed the trial? Do I need to uninstall the trial first? Just trying to cover my bases.

Thanks in advance guys. I haven't been this excited about a game since I used to play Elite on the C64 and Privateer on Win95

Both games are installed in different folders, so there's nothing to worry about.

No, the patch offered by MS is for servers.

When I ordered my game it came a day early, I was happy for like five seconds, I then realized that I had to go to work. That bummed me out...

Maxed out ship, 16 mil., and nowhere to go...I wish my MP worked

The official patch is unnecessary, but the unofficial patch can be useful, you can download it here.
