Trade Lane Lags

It isn't really a problem, but it's fairly annoying none the less.
Everytime i dock with a trade lane, my pc lags for a good second (while he enters the trade lane ring), then it's back to normal. I dunno what's causing this, but if anyone knows how to fix this small but annoying problem, just tell me..

Its your computer creating/loading ships etc for encounters - either in the tradelane, or alternatively at the other end.

Are you on a low end machine? 1 second is a LONG time for this kind of lag, it is usually just a little "jump" - almost like you lost a frame or two... instead of lag.
