Freelancer SLI Issues

System Info:- Athalon FX55, SLI enabled, 2 x GT6600 128 megs , Windows XP Pro, on board sound system, gigabyte SLI motherboard.
Freelancer crashes only when jumping from system to system via the gates.
Have installed latest V.1.1 patch, Nvidia drivers most recent and when jumping from system to system game crashes. HELP PLEASE.

Try disabling the 3D sound in the game.
