gcard unrecognized

Hi,
I used to play Freelacer with my old geforce 4 mx420, it worked very well.
I recently changed for a geforce 6600 and when i'm lauching the game, i now can read a message telling me that my graphic card is not recognised.
Nevermind, I launch and guess what's happening ?!
Main menu opens, I launch a saved game or a new one and after a few seconds, my computer restarts on a blue screen of death (cooool !).
So I installed the latest version of my cg drivers but it doesn't works.
I'm desperating, someone knows a solution ?

Make sure that your systems runs directX 9.0 c (newer than the directX on the FL-CD). You can download it here

Well, I installed the latest version of my cg (from nvidia site) and Freelancer v 1.1 patch
I launch the game >message : Your cg is not recognized (I'm starting believe it ! lol).
Main menu is working ( quickly desactivate 3d sound, I read it could help).
Lauch a saved game and go to space, it worked fine till I attach to a "space highway" (french version, sorry).
Game crash and I'm back on winxp without error message.
What to do now ?

I had an idea that perhaps you need an updated flconfigdatabase.txt to get newer cards recognized & so i found all of nvidia's PCI vendor ID's and added them to it.you can download my gfx card update here, you need to rename the extension from .flmod.zip to .zip.flmod to get flmm to run it or you can extract it to a new directory under flmm/mods.then just install it like any mod and let me know if it works for you.if it does i'll probably expand the list to include new ATI cards and release it here on lancers.

also see this post for instructions on adding vendor ID's manually:
