HUGE text

Hi!
SInce freelancer is an older game i hope this forum isnt dead.
I used to play freelancer with an Geforce 2 Ti GPU.
Now i upgraded to a Radeon 9600 pro and the game said it doesnt recognize it.
I fixed this using a post in this forum. However i still have a problem.
All the text in the game is huge, and i really mean huge. Did anyone have this problem. Im still hoping that theres an option to change font size in the game that i cant find. Please help.
I treid reinstalling the game and upgrading my graphics drivers but it didnt help.

When u switched to the ATI card i'm assuming u loaded the latest Catalyst Driver with ATI Control Panel,, try resetting your display properties to 1024X768 32 bit at a refresh rate of 72 or 85 hertz, this may or may not be helpful but all i know at the current time if you post your settings and driver used maybe someone else may have an idea

Ok , I hope this thread is not dead by now.

I also Have the same problem, Ive tried downloading the SDK files and reinstalling, but no luck,

Try editing the FONTS file in the freelancer directory... by default it would be C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\FONTS\fonts.cfg or the rich_fonts.Cfg

its quite simple to understand but i havent tested my theory yet.
Another Thing you can try is downloading the latest video drivers and uninstalling and then reinstalling freelancer. i cant do that because my cd-rom is broken.

Also, make sure you look at the video card threads that have been stickied.
