I've played through Freelancer (beat and sold it; and decided to repurchase and plan it again) and currently I'm unable to progress in the game as the game 'freezes' up. I'm on the section entitled "After Van Pelt' where 3 Liberty Cruisers and 5 ships come to attack the Bradford Station. (There are 4 ships already standing guard.) Even though my neuro-net claims that I am to defend the station I cannot. When the attacking ships approach the station they are neutral in alignment towards me. Juni can attack but if I attack the mission ends by saying I fired on a neutral target. I have sat out the battle and Juni destroyed all ships except the original four and the three cruisers. After destroying the 5 enemy ships she halts in place. I should also state that the enemy ships take no offensive stance and simply sit in place. Any help would be appreciated.
