Slow loading videos

Ok im having a very weird problem here, when i load freelancer the videos take about 45 seconds to load EACH.. thats alot, simple solution is editing them out of the freelancer.ini, i know this.. but i want to look further into this problem so.. i created a new windows user account. when i load freelancer under that user, the game loads fast.. normal type of fast, even when i have the 2 users simultaneously logged in and switching between the 2, on a certain user it always takes like 45 seconds to load 1 video.. any suggestions? thanks

Which Windows version are you running?

Your new user may have less programs loading in memory than your main account. Check and see what is loading up, using the Ctrl/ALT/Del.

maybe so, but keep in mind i can be logged into both users at the same time (meaning that i would have even MORE programs running than being logged in as 1 user) and my second user still loads the game faster.. im aiming at more of a video codec type of problem, thats the only thing i could think of as causing a problem.. maybe my main account uses a different codec to process wmv files than my new user.. i have no clue =(
