XP Restarts during gate jumps
Hi,
I'm having a problem with my computer restarting whenever I go through an intersystem jumpgate.
It occurs just as the ship is meant to slow down. ie I enter the gate, effects flash, screen goes white and loading appears, effects return and just as it's meant to slow down to enter the new system, the computer restarts.
I tried some of the methods posted at microsoft.com under their generic game stuffs up issues, but nothing has worked thus far.
Any help would be appreciated.
System specs
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Athlon 64 3200+
Epox 8KDA3+ Motherboard (AC97 Audio)
1024 MB RAM
Radeon 9600XT
All drivers we're updated earlier today. DXDIAG available if you think it will help.
I probably would have contacted Microsoft on this but they don't care. I've tried with other issues before.
