There was a recent thread devoted to configuring firewalls in this forum. Try the "Search" function to find it.

If you are using a newer version of Zone Alarm older then 4.5.594 you are going to run into problems...I build computers for a living and have run into big headaches with the latest version of Zone Alarm. Hopefully you still have your older version (4.5) on your hard drive.
Just un-install the new version and go back to version 4.5 and you shouldn't have any problem.

Keep my ZA updated & not having any diff with MP. This may or may not have anything to do with still using Worthless98. When DSL rolls to new IP it asks permisssion & goes on it's merry way.

It is hard to fly with turkeys when you soar with eagles.

That doesn't surprise me bp. In fact compatibility is one of the main reasons why I have been using version 4.5.530 of ZA for so long .
