''Connecting to Global Server...''

When i try to play FL MP when i get to where the list of servers is MEANT to be its not,in the corner all it says is 'Connecting to Global server...' it stays like that,but dosent do anything,there have been several posts on this subject but i dont think they were properly answered

Are u using a router/firewall? Can u Detail the specifications?

I installed Zone Alarm to try and fix it but it didnt work,it didnt work before i installed Zone Alarm eaither.

I connect to Internet by wireless DSL Connection,it dosent always work for some reason but when it does work FL MP still dosent work

i am having this problem now as well
i reinstalled the game earlier today to fix a mod problem
and now it does not work
it worked perfectly fine before that

i just remembered that i also just updated to directX 9.0c between installations
could that have anything to do with it??

i downgraded directX and now it works fine
i hope this was helpful
if you have directX 9.0c i recomend going back to the previous version
