Graphic Card Issue

I am having a problem running Freelancer on my new computeer fitted with a Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 XT. When I run the game it comes up with a pop up message saying the Graphics card isn't recognised.

Anyone had similar?

It seems to do that with a lot of newer cards and drivers. Ignore it - game should run fine.

Yeah, I got that problem, but mine went a little farther. I changed video cards from an ATI Radeon VE to an Verto nVidia Geforce FX 5200. It gave that same message. Now I can only view the three intro movies and see the title page. After that the program drops out with an error in one of the dll files.
