Crash because editing the Misc_Equip.ini ?

Hello
This is my first post so vorgive me my stupiness if its the wrong forum.
My Problem is: everytime i decompress the Misc_Equip.ini to increase the weapon energy for the hammerhead the game crushes at startup.
Even if i dont edit the ini and only decompress it the game crushes.
So its not beacuse i have made some mistakes in the ini.

My freelancer version is 1.00

Does anyone know how to solve this piece of **** cause its driveing me crazy

Personal recommendation: Download and install Freelancer SDK 1.3

That will give you a decompressed version of every ini file in the game, as idividual file decompressions may or may not be accurate.

Hope that Helps.

(ps: it's noted in most mods that you should/must have SDK installed, and in order for Freelancer Mod Manager to work, you MUST have the SDK installed)
