Jump Gate Crash Prob

Can anyone help with my prob, FL crashes my system to a restart when I’ve nearly transited a jump gate, it only does it then, no other probs at all, did the sound fix, lowering the sound settings in control panel, but it made no difference, I’ve a feeling it may be connected to my Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro AGP card, any ideas please?

Try do reinstal Freelancer. Udate it (downl0oad the newest pach)
Instal newest v. of Catalyst for Your 9800pro.

In this Microsoft suggest using an older driver, which is interesting, because i get the message that FL does not recognise my video card, at start of game,
so the answer may be to go back till a older catalyst driver?
