win2k problem

I just spent 2 hours on the phone with microsoft helpdesk, and they could only upgrade my problem. The problem is this:

I laaunch the set-up and get an error message that the game will only run under win 98 or better on win 2k or better. The only problem is I am running win 2k.

I've played the demo and decided (finally) to buy this but I'd realy like to install it. does anyone have any ideas?

Are you running any service packs. Also do you have administrative rights on that machine? If not, you need them. What exactly does the game do when you try to install it?

ok! I got it running by copying the setup from my win98 box. Thanks.
