Argh! Can''t play in 1280x1224

My lcd moniter's native resolution is 1280x 1024. Unfortunately, Freelancer doesn't seem to support this resolution. I currently use a Radeon 9800 pro with the newest drivers. On my old comp, with an ancient Radeon 7000, the game allows me to run it at 1280x1024. Anyone know what the proplem is and how to fix it?

. Mmm, it could be a refresh rate issue. What is the maximum refresh rate that your monitor supports in 1280x1024?

Or turn it down to a different resolution, I know, what a bane, but if you cannot get it working, use a different resolution. Some of us unlucky gits on old monitors only have a 1024 by 768 maximum on a 14 inch screen

Well, there's a problem with that, because LCDs can't properly run resolutions other than their native resolution.

It'll be all blurry and such.
