A few questions

Hi all i just got this game so here is a few question and a problem i'm having...

1. Is there a way to turn fps on in this game? So you can actually see your frame rate per second at any given screen.

2. I just recently got the game but sometimes the game will get stuck for some reason... i dont know why... like it doesn't happen all the time but sometimes all the sudden the game will just get stuck. My computer is a 2.4ghz Pent4 Hyper Threading with 800FSB , 512MB DDR 3200 Ram, ATI Raedon 9000 Non-Pro,Onboard 5.1 Sound System. I have DirectX 9.0b with no conflicts.

Welcome to TLR! The first thing is to make sure that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card and sound card. You should also turn 3D Sound off in FL (if you have it selected) because it can cause problems. Finally, consult the stickied threads at the top of this forum if you haven't already done so, because a lot of fixes are listed there.

As for the FPS, I cannot recall a command off-hand, but a third-party program like FRAPS can show you your FPS. You can find it on Google.

FRAPS slows down the game, I wouldn't sugest using it.

And DX9.0b is known to cause a few problems I'm afraid. I'm also afraid that I don't know what to do about it.

You were gone?

Edit: Damn spelling.

Nick - ALL frame-measuring utils (including internal ones) slow the game down. I do not believe that FRAPS slows FL down any more than its alternatives. As for 9.0b, which problems are you referring to?
