Help with graphics card

hey all, i have a question about graphics. I've had Freelancer for about 7 months, and i used to have an older graphics card, but the graphics were still great. Then i got a new comp for Christmas, and it has an ATI Radeon 9800 XT (not to brag

) and Direct X 9.0. But Freelancer recognizes only a Primary display adapter, and the graphics in-game are not too great.

Does anyone know if there are some drivers I can get to fix this, or some other way to correctit? thanks

hehe i have a similar problem ran freelancer on older comp with crap graphics card but still had good graphics then got new comp with ATI Radeon 9800 and it said it didnt recognise it or somthing, the graphics are fine but whenever i open up the weapon load out screen it lags terrible, same for the shield page aswell ne reasons why this is ?
