Server Account Reset

Hello all. I have been running a Freelancer server for about 6 months now. And on my main system I had 3 great chars on an account. But the system got fried. I have a couple of other systems I can use. But FL has already obtained "account" data for the system accounts I use. Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the account without uninstalling so that I can try to manually put in my account id (assuming the server shows the account id instead of some random id per accounts).

Thanks.

I could just setup another system account to play FL with but that would be pretty tedious going from system account to system account just to play FL.

I would post it in those forums if I think ith ada chance of getting answered there lol. Seeing as how those forums seem to be deathly inactive.

And what I meant is... Freelancer when you connect to a server generates an "account id" which is a long alphanumeric string. Problem is you can view it. But once its set... I don't see any way of clearing it or changing it. Thats what I need to figure out how to do. Cause its already got one setup but it isn't the one to the account I need to access. Make sense?

I assume you want to re use your old MP ID by what you are saying , there is a very simple way to do this

print out your CURRENT account id

Open Regedit

Search for your account ID (just type it in without any spaces and or '-')

replace 2 characters in the string you found (just random the only function it serves is to generate an invalid ID)

Start freelancer

It will pop up a box telling you that your ID is invalid and give you the opportunity to fill in a new one

Type in your old ID

I know you have to remove the refrigerator door when placing it at the curb , but then the neighbours kid would get away for sure , damn moral dillema's
