I am having trouble running the Freelancer demo on a Windows 2000 laptop with 800 mhz processor and 8 mb graphics card. I know the graphics card isn't quite up to the specifications, but it should at least run with a low framerate and all the setting turned to lowest, right? Anyway, I installed it, and the first thing I noticed was that the menu was all screwed up. The letters were jumping all over the place and it was almost impossible to see anything. I managed to click on "New Game" because I thought maybe only the menu was messed up. It loaded a new game, but as soon as the sound came on the laptop crashed and restarted. Is there a fix for this?
