No Picture in launchpad or bar

Whenever i am at the launchpad or the bar i dont get any texture its just a gray screen anyone else have a silmilar problem that you fixed?

well,i already have a few problems with the game ,it crashes 2 desktop and ......
anyways,when i toyed with the options of the nvidea software i got with my geforce i got what u are discribing,so my suggestion would be 2 change some of the options by opening the display properties and choosing setting then advanced from the vry bottom and look around.as i remember the options had something 2 do with direct 3d and when i disabled them it returned 2 normal.

which version of DirectX are you using?
