I realized that I left out an important detail...
I load the game and it works great!!! prefect sounds, graphics, etc.. But if I restart my computer, then the problem starts!!!

does it hang? or does it crash?

Oh, before I forget, sometimes Direct-X 9.0 causes some problems. Install the update, 9.0b I believe, it might solve the prob

I have win-XP-home also, so tha ain't the prob.

can't this be a video-driver prob, as the animations start up first. or a sound prob.
I'm just sugesting here. I have absolutely now experiance with this, so I hope someone else comes along to help you.

maybe you need to format your computer.

yea we are just running the usual fixes here with you. I think it may be that when you restart somthing isn't initalised properply. Check your graphics drivers as nickless said.
