unable to dl from lancersreactor....

i suppose this would go into this forum, but if not plz feel free to move it. However iv had difficulty downloading a lot of different files. One in particular that im wanting is the massive addon mod. what happens is if the file is over 2 megs or so the download will stop at any random place (i.e. 2.37mb of 8.25) explorer will still be moving, youll see the little paper fly from folder to folder, but the download will simply stop and wont move. iv tried with several different downloads that are over 2 megs, with no luck. Iv used the Opera browser as well and it will get about to that point, and it will show Stopped, for the current download, as though the connection was lost. I also have tried this on different machines threw different connections. Anyone else having problems? Also if someone has the Massive addon somewhere we i can dl it, id appreciate it thx.

you could try a download manager, such as freshdownload, gozilla, smart download,, theres a few about.

well you see, opera has its on little proggy that runs automatically upon dling. it will dl, and if it stops or looses connection, it will continue when you can reistablish connection. Thats not the problem... but when it pieces it together i guess thats where the problem occurs. i try to access the file and it says its not a valid winzip archive and wont open. actually the most recent attempt, i could use 2 of 3 of the files in the winzip file, over it stated that one was corrupt. Well how about instead of my figuring out what lengths i have to go to dl, we need to see if theres a way the server here can get more stable... i mean have you personally tried to dl straight from explorer? tell me if you cant get that dl right now, i gurantee you will not be able to get it. I will explore other dl methods, but i wouldnt mind knowing whats going on with the site/server, thats making the download hault like that. Would also be nice to see a resolve for that issue =\.
