Cable Router *HELP*

I have a Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL router Model BEFSR41 with the latest firmware upgrade. I'm trying to make this work with Freelancer server.... Te other computer attached to the router has no problems connecting/playing the game off this server. A friend of mine tries to connect and he almost gets in then it gives him the boot. Gave him an error message something to the effect that his usernam/password is incorrect....I didn't set the server up to require a password... Any help is appreciated.

You have to set the ports up to accept incoming calls.

OR, you van just turn it off.- Advanced firewall protection- i belive.

I have pretty much the same thing as you. Haven't tried running a server though.
