Disabling Mouse wheel for speed control?

Anyone found a way to disable the mouse wheel for engine speed control, theres no obvious references in the ini's for the wheel only keyboard.

I'm now finding with a old mouse its slipping during PVP and engading the engines, which is a killer when you expect to beable to dodge a torp/missle.

have you tried going into the options and assigning something else to your wheel.

That Should be obvious, the wheel isn't bindabled and the engine control via it can't be disabled so wondered if anyone had found away around it.

Guess you didn't or even think to look at the prefs.

Well, I can disable the mouse wheel with the (Logitech) mouseware. Control panel -> mouse -> buttons -> no wheel scroll
