Now this has something to do with freelancer and also not...

I've been wanting to upgrade for ages now because i want to run games like freelancer at full rez. I was weighing up the difference between the AMD XP 2600+ and the Pentium 4 2.67Ghz. I was just wondering what is AMD's equal chip that runs at the same speed as the P4 2.67Ghz? Im sick of running in 800x600 rez!!!!!!

Firstly, an AMD Xp2600+ does not run at 2.6ghz, the actual speed I dont know, but my XP1800+ runs at 1.5ghz. As for comparisons between processors, i'd check out www.tomshardware.com they have some nice reviews
