Freelancer not working with ati 9500 pro

Help! I tried all the msoft help recommendations, plus spent about 2 weeks playing email tag with tech support.... with no solution. I had a geforce 4 mx440 card and the game worked like a charm. I went out and got the 9500 and shazam, after going through the loading movies... the game hits the freelancer logo... stalls... then minimizes to the desktop and locks up... Can't restore, and it crashes shortly after. I tried disabling the movies, same problem... if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it!

Not sure what is happening there but if your running anti virus software try disableing or shuting down the software. AVG antivirus software from grisoft
will reboot your system if you try running it with freelancer.

No anti virus on this computer anymore...

Just goes to loading screen... then crash to desktop

I formatted and clean installed win2k instead of xp... works fine now... incase anyone cares.
