Hovis disappears POSSIBLE SPOILERS

I am using the Freelancer Rebalance Mod 2.1. On the mission where you need to talk to and race Hovis, I can't find him in the bar. What should I do?

you need to talk to the bartender, he point him out

lol, it's not really helpful, but in ReBalance, sometimes Hovis crashed into a ring and blows himdelf up, quite hilarious...
