Freelancer Blackscreen on startup
It seems I am not the only one with this problem. But I still haven't solved it.
I installed the game succesfully and after the "accept terms" window my screen goes black and I have to reboot. (rebooted about 25 times already)
I followed the microsoft online help instruction down to the letter, but it doesn't help me.
I even reinstalled DX9.0a (even though I already had it). Via NVidia I updated to the new graphic driver software, ... still no reaction from the game.
Still it might be a sound problem though. An intro-movie needs sound too, ... so if there is a conflict, ... the game might freez up too.
Anyway, I did all mister Bill-ionair Gates told me to do, but it seems he is not worth his money.
These are my tech specs:
Computer:

256MB RAM / about 100 Gb free disk space / DirectX9.0a

As so many ppl seem to have similar kinda problems, ... their must be a common screw up in the game. I hope they release a fix soon, ... goes I wanna play it.
